Beef And Caramelised Onion Sandwich


Everyone will love these sandwiches which are loaded with all the best filllings - juicy beef burgers, baby spinach, cheese and of course sweet caramelised onions.

The ingredient of Beef And Caramelised Onion Sandwich

  • 40g butter
  • 1 x 400g pkt fresh sliced onions
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar mazzetti brand
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 x pkts 100 beef aussie burgers
  • 2 x pkts turkish bread squares
  • 1 x 150g pkt baby spinach leaves
  • 6 slices cheddar
  • 6 gherkins thinly sliced lengthways

The Instruction of beef and caramelised onion sandwich

  • preheat oven to 180u00b0c cook bread in oven following packet directions or until golden brown and cooked through remove from oven and set aside for 5 minutes to cool slightly
  • meanwhile melt the butter in a large non stick frying pan over medium heat until foaming add the onion and cook stirring for 5 minutes or until soft stir in the vinegar and sugar and cook stirring for 5 minutes or until the onion caramelises remove from heat and set aside until required
  • meanwhile heat a large non stick frying pan over medium high heat add the beef burgers and cook for 3 minutes each side or until brown and just cooked through
  • split the bread squares in half place bases on serving plates and top with spinach leaves beef burgers and caramelised onion place remaining bread halves on plates and top with cheddar and gherkins serve immediately
