Crispy Pork And Noodles With Biang Biang Sauce Recipe


You cant beat saucy noodles for a quick weeknight dinner. Topped with tasty pork mince and fresh herbs, you wont look at a packet of 2-minute noodles again!

  • 2 x 200g pkts dried thick rice noodles
  • 1 4 cup peanut oil
  • 500g pork mince
  • 1 1 2 teaspoons dried chilli flakes
  • 4 garlic cloves crushed
  • 1 1 2 tablespoons sesame seeds toasted
  • 1 2 cup salt reduced soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 4 green onions thinly sliced
  • 1 2 cup chopped fresh coriander
  • 1 lebanese cucumber seeded cut into matchsticks
  • 3 radish thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • cook noodles following packet directions
  • meanwhile heat 1 tablespoon peanut oil in a large frying pan over high heat cook mince breaking up with a wooden spoon for 7 8 minutes or until browned add chilli garlic and 1 tablespoon of seeds cook stirring for 1 minute
  • add soy sauce sugar vinegar half the onion half the coriander and remaining peanut oil add noodles cook until combined and warmed through
  • serve noodles with cucumber and radish top with remaining coriander onion and seeds drizzle with sesame oil to finish
